Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport Parking

New Orleans International Airport has several options for parking at the airport. With a total of over 8,000 parking spaces divided into four different parking options there are more than enough spaces to go around. The options for parking are Short Term Parking Garage, Long Term Parking Garage, Surface Parking Lot and Economy Garage.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are available on the 1st floors of the Long Term and Economy Garages.

Park Assist is a system that directs travelers to available parking spaces with lights on the ceiling. A green light indicates that there is a parking space available out of the four spaces assigned to each light. A green indicates that all four of the spaces in that particular section are taken. This makes it easier and quicker to find a parking space and travelers can be at the terminal faster and easier.

Disabled Veteran Parking is available as a free benefit provided that all requirements are in place. A specific form, LDVA F33, is required to be completed and certified in advance

Other Services available are Locating of Lost Vehicle, Dead Battery Assistance and Air for Tires.

Short Term Parking Garage at New Orleans International Airport

The airport’s short term parking garage has 2,190 parking spaces and it has direct access to the Ticketing and Check-in area of the airport’s terminal via a walkway. The walkway is located on the 4th floor of the garage and the 3d floor of the terminal.

The first floor has a height restriction of 12’ 16’’ while the rest of the floors have a height restriction of 7’ 6’’.

Short Term Parking Rates:

The first half hour is Free of Charge with each additional 30 minutes at $2. There is a maximum charge of $22 per 24 hours.

Long Term Parking Garage at New Orleans International Airport

The long term parking garage at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has 2,750 parking spaces and it is located across from the arrivals area on the facility’s east side.

The first floor’s height restrictions are 13’ while the height restriction for floor 2 and above is 7’ 4’’.

Long Term Parking Rates:

The first half hour is Free of Charge with an additional half hour costing $2 and the maximum for 24 hours at $18.

Surface Parking Lot at New Orleans International Airport

The surface lot is located a short walk from the airport’s terminal and it has 685 parking spaces.

Surface Parking Rates:

The first 30 minutes of parking is Free of Charge with each additional half hour at $2. The maximum for 24 hours is $18.

Economy Garage at New Orleans International Airport

The airport’s remote parking option is the 2,483 parking spaces big Economy Garage with optimized shuttles running to and from the terminal. Shuttles can be tracked via the Ride Systems app available for download.

Economy Garage Parking Rates:

The first half hour is $4, while each additional half hour is $2 and the maximum for 24 hours is $12. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment at this option.
